In this course, you will learn step by step how to manage and organize major sports events. You will start by understanding the fundamentals of sports management and the difference between leadership and management. Next, you will learn how to fully plan a tournament, including stadiums, accommodations, transportation, and logistics. After that, you will learn how to organize teams and volunteers and ensure a memorable fan experience from ticket purchase to stadium exit. You will then move on to learn the basics of media coverage, television broadcasting, and sponsor coordination, followed by managing the tournament’s social responsibility and evaluating performance after the event. By the end of the course, you will be able to organize a major sports tournament from start to finish efficiently and professionally.
