About Mohamed

Mohamed Fadl is a former Egyptian football player and prominent sports administrator. He began his professional career with Al Ahly SC in 2001 before playing for several other clubs in Egypt and the Arab region. After retiring, he transitioned into sports administration and became an influential figure in Egyptian football management. He served as a member of the FIFA-appointed committee overseeing the Egyptian Football Association, contributing to the organization of domestic competitions. In 2019, he was appointed Executive Director of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) hosted in Egypt, overseeing all organizational aspects of the tournament and ensuring it ran professionally, earning both local and international recognition. He also launched the tournament’s volunteer program, emphasizing the importance of engaging youth in sports event management.
